Honeymooning

The Monday after our wedding, we flew to Jamaica to relax for a week. David planned the most fabulous all-inclusive honeymoon at the Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios.  I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.  It was amazing with great staff that were very accommodating.  My favorite was the guy who's job was simply to walk along the beach with ice cold rose water in order to spritz those who were too warm.  After wedding diets,  it may be a little dangerous for your figure.  The food was delicious and with 24 hour room service - you can have whatever you want whenever you want.  We may or may not have ordered the rack of lamb with a side of blueberries and kiwi at midnight a time or two...

We arrived around lunchtime on Monday to this...

We spent 8 days and 7 nights completely relaxed.  We ate lots of food and did some kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, and wind surfing.

David Kayaking...

We had fabulous dinners while watching the sunset on the beach...

We learned to sail..

And did a lot of this..

We also hiked up the Dunn's River Falls, went tubing down the white river, and rode a zip line.  We hated to leave and can't wait to go back again.

We were excited to get to Salt Lake City to settle in our new home together.  We flew back to the US the following Monday night and arrived in Dallas where we were able to have a nice dinner out with our friends Katie and Shawn.  They were so sweet to pick us up from the airport and cart us around.  The next day we flew to Utah where we started getting settled.
