The last of 2009

2009 was an incredibly busy year for us.  During this year, we got engaged on Valentine's Day, found out we matched for residency in Utah in March, David graduated from Medical School in May, we took a long road trip to move him to Utah in June and he started his residency, I finished up my internship for school all summer, we got married in August, I moved to Salt Lake after the wedding in September, I started two new jobs in November, and I graduated from graduate school in December.  What a crazy whirlwind of a year.  Looking back, it was fabulous and I wouldn't change a thing.  To round off our year we spent a lot of time playing in the snow, skiing, and hanging out with friends.

We headed back to the slopes two days after Christmas. Here is David coming down the bottom...

We celebrated the end of 2009 with friends at a beautiful house up in the canyons.

Ringing in the new year
David was on trauma call on New Year's Eve.  Shockingly he did not receive even one page so we were able to celebrate the whole night without interruption.

Our first adventure of 2010 was skiing...

  1. Cute pictures, Julie! Last year was sure busy, wasn't it? You've played more in the snow than I have in the last 10 years while living here hahahah
